Project Details
Rolling Waggon Acres is a homestead located in the Wet Mountains of Colorado, housing goats, chickens, rabbits, and quail. The Waggoners sell goat’s milk, cheese, eggs, and other goat milk products. The name Rolling Waggon Acres was born from the last name of the owners, Waggoner. The Waggoners are from Oklahoma, so as an ode to their home state, a prairie schooner wheel was used in the logo. A simple linework style was requested and a goat was a must. The wordmark mimics the curvature in the linework of the icon. The color scheme is cream for milk, blue for the Wet Mountain skies, and orange for the sunrises and sunsets–the times that goat-milking happens. The Waggoners will use this content to post on social media and let their local community know about the fresh products they are offering. The business cards will be dropped off at local shops in Westcliffe, Colorado.
